I didn’t end up having as much time to blog in London as I thought when I quickly wrote this post.
In between getting my London walking fix doing a bit of shopping (post to come on this one!) & meeting up with London Family … I barely got time to sleep, much less blog.
But, now that I’m back in Toronto & the jet lag is slowly subsiding, I can sit down with my cup of tea & share with you a bit more about my trip.
On our first day in London, one of our co-workers had already found an excellent Brunch place to take us to. Having just landed after being up all night & only eating airplane food for 8 hours. The sound of brunch at a place called The Breakfast Club sounded like heaven.
Post our check in & a quick refresher we took off on the journey to find this famous Breakfast Club. We did get a bit lost but eventually we found it – The Breakfast Club.
The food did not disappoint. I ordered the avocado & poached eggs on toast, with a side of bacon.
Absolute deliciousness. The toast was crunchy, the avocado fresh, the bacon crispy & the egg once broken melted across it all. Yum.
Having eaten, we took long stroll back to the hotel through the neighborhood to unwind before we headed down to the Lower Bank to get a view of Big Ben while the sun was out.
We almost made to the down the Lower Bank before the rain struck … almost but not quite.
