Last weekend we took advantage of the extra time and nice weather to check out the Toronto Food Truck Festival at Woodbine Park. Normally we head straight for the poutine or burger line up, but it was our first food truck festival so we decided to try something new. For variety we split up and choose different trucks, in the end we meet up and both had tacos to share. It’s funny how sisters can think alike trying to think outside the box.
Barbacoa and Steak Tacos from La Loteria Taqueria
Fish Tacos from Buster’s Sea Cove
Although our picks were similar there was a number of food choices to pick from at the Toronto Food Truck Festival
(The smell of bacon took over the section, but the line up was too long to switch)
Churros from Pancho’s Bakery
With long line ups and hypnotizing smells we quickly realized, patience is key. It’s definitely best to split up to cut down on the time spent in lines and enjoy the food, a cold Mill Street Organic and some live tunes from the main stage.
