#TBT: Kings of Leon Mechanical Bull Tour

If you follow our blog, you’ll know that earlier this week we went to see Kings of Leon play live at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto for their Mechanical Bull Tour!

We enjoyed our Bubba beers under pastel pink skies as we listened to the opening acts Kongo and Young the Giant.

The sun had set once Kings of Leon hit the stage  and without skipping a beat everyone got up to their feet. They played a mixed of songs from their albums, covering some of our favorites like Closer, Use Somebody, and Supersoaker. Each song had a different visual creating a unique experience and they even incorporated live footage of the concert. It gave the show an old school rock and roll vibe, with the focus on the band members and the music they play so damn well.

Towards the end of the show they asked everyone to take out their phones and of course we all did. It was magical to look around and we can only imagine what it looked like from their point of view.

To close out the show they asked us to get wild and it was easy because they played Sex on Fire! It was an amazing way to end the show with high energy and everyone dancing and jumping around.

So if you are thinking about seeing them, we highly recommend that you buy a ticket and prepare yourself for an awesome show. Your only regret will be not taking out enough money to buy another beer, but there’s always an ATM somewhere around.

Thank you Kings of Leon for an epic night of rock and roll!
